Thanks to all my readers. 

As a reader and student of Education and English Literature, the act of reading is very important, as it entails a great responsibility to that social “contract.” 

Reading opens doors to new perspectives, my people. It allows us to connect with people across time space, across the Island, around the world.

Each book is a new world to explore. Each piece of literature. 

Literature teaches us to listen closely. Words can challenge, comfort, and inspire. 

Education helps us understand those words more deeply. As readers, we carry the stories we read. We carry in the bones our unique story as a human-been in this version.

We also carry the voices of those who wrote them. 

All the voices in a lot of pages.

Every page is an invitation to think. Reflection is a part of the reading journey. Readers help keep ideas alive. 

I’m grateful for every moment shared through the written word. Today a teacher told me that she reads me.
