Elvis Rafael Vázquez-Ortiz (Guayama, Puerto Rico, 1994) is an urban poet and a student at the College of Education of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico (PUCPR) in Ponce.


He has participated in various cultural activities as a poet and organizer, including Noche de Poesía at Cafelao, moderated by scholar and poet Marta Jazmín García-Nieves (2013); Arte en el Meollo, moderated by artist and poet Mauricio Planchart-Navia (2019); and Noche de Poesía Comunitaria at El Local, moderated by poet Daniel Pommers, among others.


He was a member of the literary circle Esencia y Palabra at the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce, moderated by poet and professor Kattia Chico (2012).


Currently, he is a member of CLAFA (Antonio Ferrer Atilano Literary Circle), presided over by poet Edwin Torres Aponte from Salinas. He is also part of the Cunyabe Cultural Center in Salinas, led by poet, Bombero, and community leader Edwin González.


Since adolescence, he has been writing from his poetic imagination. His work has been published in the blog Chocarreras (2018), the blog Generación Jípster (2018), Ceiba magazine (2023), Letras Salvajes magazine (2024), Let’s Chat (2024) and in

creativo, página 0, El Post Antillano (periódico puertorriqueño, 2025). Is the founder of "La Jagüa Books" online based library in the south of the island of Puerto Rico.
