Do you think schools should have their gates closed during the day and not allow students to leave? Why or why not?

Image
Carlos Colón Burgos High School, locally known as “Los Rositas,” became the scene of several fights this afternoon, sparked by a bullying incident, according to Noticias Salinas (01/30/2026). Unfortunately, the school had no security protocol in place, which allowed the situation to escalate. Incidents like this highlight the urgent need for stricter safety measures in schools. I believe school gates should remain closed during study hours to protect students and staff, as society seems increasingly unpredictable.  Effective protocols should involve trained law enforcement, as the police have the experience and formation to manage these conflicts safely. In addition, the types of violence that emerge in schools are complex. Protest violence occurs when individuals or groups respond to perceived injustices or frustrations, often acting collectively and sometimes aggressively.  Biopolitical violence, on the other hand, refers to the control or harm directed at people’s bo...

The good credit

Image
To begin with, "The credit system accelerates the material development of the productive forces... At the same time credit accelerates the violent eruptions of this contradiction -crises-and thereby the elements of disintegration of the old mode of production." -Karl Marx, Capital Vol. III  I start from the premise that having or not having credit is like a side effect of the production forces of capitalism. First, the Definition , la palabra "credit"is the ability of a customer to obtain goods or services before payment, based on the trust that payment will be made in the future. (Oxford languages) In addition, the Etimology, the word "credit" originated in the 1520s from the Middle French crédit, which means "belief, trust," and the Italian credito. It represents the, "I believe in you" aspect of extending trust in financial dealings.  What is a general example, and how do I use it? It's used as a bridge of time. It allows you to ...

Do you find it hard to eat healthy? Why or why not?

Image
Regular patterns of eating over time can get complicated. It becomes an investment. A healthy diet includes the right proportions of nutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals). The age of our human version determines the diet. It's hard to eat healthy. For a low-class person, financial insecurity and stress can lead to increased cravings for high-fat and sugary foods. I find indeed that its hard to eat healthy because becoming "health-conscious" and "mindful about eating" allows us to make intentional food choices that support our well-being rather than relying on habit. This word have an interesting and a long etymology. Health from the Old English it means the state of being free from illness or injury (Oxford languages). It is closely related to hale, whole, heal, and holy, indicating a state of complete, stable existence rather than just the absence of disease. What does it mean to eat healthy? To eat healthy means choosing a balance...

Do you think people today respect authority and expertise? Why or why not?

Image
In our postmodernity our society, respect for authority and expertise is increasingly complex and often contested . The activism in a democratic system. Unlike previous generations, people today have immediate access to information through the internet and social media.  Firstly, this access empowers individuals to question traditional authorities such as governments, educators, and scientists, and can ban books . This can be a positive development in democratic societies. The lower class, now can study. Healthy incredulity    encourages accountability and prevents blind obedience.  However, this same access to information has also can distort the line between credible expertise and personal response.  One major reason for the erosion of trust in authority is the rapid spread of drug trafficking but of "cuello blanco", political extremism and corruption. Extremely low trust overall. Recent comprehensive surveys find that only about 17% of U.S. adults say ...

Bugonia (2025)

The title. Exposition. So is a good mythology story that explain where bees wer originated. In etymology terms. It starts with a beatiful photography .Beautiful exposition of the bees and the flowers. The protagonist appears here. Teddy and Donny , the other character. They planning a resistant act they think they are capturing an alien responsible for Earth’s destruction. What represents a beeh?  Why intertextuality in the films with alienes?  Bees “produce” endlessly (honey), yet do not benefit from it a frequent metaphor for exploited labor.  Risinng action is when they capture the woman. And when they cut her hair. Like tibet monk. Climax is when Teddy hits her. She is handcuffed. Couple of days pass. Falling action its when she manages to untie his hands and fight. She controls him for minutes. Resolution is that one character, Donny , committed suicide, seduced by the idea of liberating the woman. Teddy appears in the a part showing homemade explosives. So he...

Poema para Nora Cruz

Image
No dije gracias. No hizo falta.
